History In The Making
It’s not very often you come across a local business with over 100 years of history to its name. Spokane Furniture Co. is one of these gems! Originally established in 1906 by C.S. Jacobson and J.S. Knudson, Spokane Furniture Co. grew to one of the largest furniture stores in the area by offering excellent customer service and quality furniture at friendly prices. The store remained a pillar in the community throughout the next 65 years until it sadly closed its doors in April 1970.

Continuing the Legacy
In April 2002, Zach Ziegler leased the same building that the original Spokane Furniture Co. had owned and opened Ziegler’s Oak Furniture. It didn’t take long before stories reached the store about the history of the building and what it used to hold. When Zach discovered that the building that he was leasing had once been built for a furniture store, he could not let this opportunity pass him by. In August 2004, the re-established Spokane Furniture Co. opened its doors again to the community with the same standard of quality and service as the original.

Since the success of Spokane Furniture Co. re-establishment, we have grown to a second store in Spokane Valley.
